Fit Tots (4-6)
Fit Tots is designed to help instill a love for health and fitness in our youngest athletes ages 4-6. Through specific and intentional programming, we will work on the 10 general physical skills (cardiovascular/respiratory endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, agility, balance, and accuracy) and cognitive development while teaching our tots how to move correctly in space. We will utilize games and drills in a fun environment to reinforce good movement patterns while promoting teamwork, problem solving, and healthy competition.
Fit Tots is a 6 week course with classes once a week on Saturday mornings from 9-9:45am. Our class will be capped at 12 athletes and have 2 coaches and an assistant coach, keeping our coach to athlete ratio at 1:4.
Our youth programs will be coached by Jessica Bova, a former collegiate and professional athlete, current CrossFit Level 1 and Level 2 certified trainer, and mother of 2. She is trained in youth fitness methodologies, carries CRP/AED certifications, and has all appropriate background clearences. She will be assisted by Sara Campbell, a local Biology teacher who carries her CrossFit Level 1 certified trainer as well as all background clearances, and CPR/AED certifications. Eva Morgan will be our third assistant coach who is currently an athlete in our CrossFit Teens class.
