Tammy Friedt

Tammy Friedt is the personification of the “help first” attitude. She has spent the better part of the last 2 decades in the fitness industry, serving others in any and all ways to help them lead their healthiest lifestyle. As a former group exercise instructor and personal trainer, and now CrossFit coach and gym owner, you will see her passion for her profession. She is driven to help her athletes get healthier and obtain the results that they desire.

Tammy holds the following certifications: Level 1 CrossFit Trainer, Level 2 CrossFit Trainer, CrossFit Olympic Lifting, CrossFit Gymnastics, CrossFit Endurance Training, USAW Sports Performance Coach, Outlaw Way Trained, CrossFit Kids, ACE Certified Personal Trainer

Alex Valadja

Head Coach


Alex Valadja’s life’s calling is to be a coach; that will be very clear from the moment you meet him. Whether it’s in our CrossFit gym or on the baseball field; Alex thrives when he is teaching.

His love for strength and conditioning began as a Division 1 baseball player at James Madison University, where he majored in Kinesiology. Upon graduating, he spent 2 years as an intern, and later a lead intern, within JMU’s renowned Strength and Conditioning program. He was able to learn from and work with some of the great minds in collegiate athletics.

With his extensive education and experience, Alex teaches with an ever growing knowledge and an undeniable passion that is motivating, inspiring, and contagious. He works tirelessly on his coaching craft, and leads with the upmost professionalism and respect for our members.

Above all, Alex’s compassion and his genuine belief in our athletes and their abilities make him such a valuable asset to CrossFit TPA. He holds both his CrossFit Level 1 Trainer and CrossFit Level 2 Trainer certifications.

Tricia O'Shea

Coach


Tricia O’Shea is the ultimate illustration of someone who leads by example. A former fifth grade teacher and mother of 4, Tricia is patient and persistent while coaching our athletes. Her dedication to coaching and teaching to the best of her abilities every time she steps foot into the gym is one of her most outstanding qualities; only outdone by her kindness and compassion. She is driven to help our athletes achieve their goals.

A cornerstone of the box, Tricia has been with CrossFit TPA from its very modest beginnings in 2012 both as an athlete and a coach. Tricia holds the following CrossFit certifications: CrossFit Level 1 Trainer, CrossFit Level 2 Trainer, CrossFit Kids

Sara Campbell

Coach


Before Coach Sara became a staple at CrossFit TPA, she was a multi sport athlete who thrived as a runner. She ran several half marathons and finished a full marathon with a time that qualified her for the Boston Marathon. As an athlete, Sara is fierce competitor and the ultimate grinder. She has been able to take her ability to suffer through tough workouts and apply her ‘unshakable’ mentality to her coaching. Never too high or too low, Sara has the unique ability to command the room with her cool, calm, and collected demeanor, allowing her to communicate in a clear and concise manner which our athletes love. She has plenty of practice from being a high school biology teacher. Sara is currently a certified CrossFit Level 1 Trainer.

Jason Squatrito

Coach


Jason Squatrito started out at TPA as an athlete and came to love the community atmosphere and the training Crossfit has to offer. He is a strong competitor stemming from his days of being a multi-sport athlete in both high school and college. He is always pushing himself to be better and enjoys trying new things.

Jason’s true calling is servant leadership; from his career in law enforcement to his involvement as a youth group leader. He wants to see people be the best that they can both in and out of the gym. Jason is currently a certified CrossFit Level 1 Trainer.
